In reviewing the project and providing comments (favorable or unfavorable) and suggestions, and/or by expressing concerns, the ECPP and the Estero Community are not intending to usurp Lee County Staff responsibilities and duties nor to negate Staff’s analyses and recommendations. Rather, the ECPP and the community rely on staff to consider and apply all applicable regulations and provisions, including, but not limited to, the Estero Specific provisions of both the Lee Plan and the Land Development Code. The ECPP asks the Developer/Owner to transmit a copy of the meeting report to each Panel Member and to keep the Panel informed of all changes in the zoning application that occur after the public informational session. The ECPP reserves the right to agree or disagree with either the applicant or Staff or both regarding any project zoning issue before the Hearing Examiner and the Board of County Commissioners.
