Community Emergency Plans
The Estero Fire Rescue District has provided Guidelines
for Completing an Emergency Preparedness Plan for Estero Residential
Communities, as well as provided a blank form to help your community complete
the plan. These documents
are available on the Estero Fire Rescue page.

FEMA Flood Maps
The
December 2006 Estero Development Report has a link to the newly updated FEMA
flood maps, which will probably take effect in August 2007.
LeeTran, the public transportation system for Lee County,
adjusted their routes in December 2006 to provide connections at
Coconut Point Mall.
- Route 140: This route, which travels US 41 from North
Fort Myers to Coconut Point, has been extended southward to the Coconut
Point Mall.

- Route 150: This route, which travels Bonita Springs, will stop at Coconut Point Mall on every trip, connecting
with Route 140. A $1.00 fare is now in effect.

Estero's growth has created a need for a new, larger post
office for Estero, Florida. Follow the progress of this project on the
Post Office page.
The Lee County Sheriff's office provides law enforcement
for unincorporated Lee County, including Estero, which is in the South District.
