Mission: to protect the unique
history, identity, and character of our community and to preserve the
excellent quality of life enjoyed in Estero through the efforts and
support of our membership.
Goals: to educate,
advocate, and involve our membership in issues that directly
impact our area, and to represent Estero at all local, state,
and federal levels.
The Estero Civic Association is the older organization in
the area devoted to the betterment of the future of the Estero area. The Civic Association serves to educate its
members and the greater Estero community about and supports
issues such as:
- efforts to institute the Estero Community Plan
- the State's purchase of the Sahdev property
- the County's efforts to participate in the purchase of
Babcock Ranch
- the widening of Corkscrew Road
- various South Florida Water Management feasibility
studies to solve water resource problems
- funding for traffic lights at US 41 and Williams Road;
Corkscrew and River Ranch Road
- building the Estero Community park
