finalized their recommendation for the reorganization of ECCL as well as
screening and presenting candidates for the positions in the new
organization. The organization recommendation will be presented to the
membership at the September 14th meeting for approval. Linked is a
detailed organization chart and position descriptions.
John
Goodrich, Chair of both the Transition Committee and the Nominating
Committee presented the nominees to the membership at the September 14th
meeting. Elected were:
Jim Boesch (Transportation); Phil Douglas
(Environment); John Goodrich (Government); Nick Batos (Chairperson); Marilyn
Edwards (Communications); Bob Lienesch (Financial); Roger Strelow (Community

Chairman Don Eslick will be stepping down Jan. 1,
2013 after more than 10 years of directing Estero in a direction that makes

The Agenda for the September 14th meeting will provide the ability
for all members to access the organization information prior to the meeting.
Several developer controlled
residential communities have ECCL members who
have been appointed in accordance with the ECCL By-laws. They will be
replaced by resident elected Board-designated delegates when the homeowners take
over governance of the community. In addition five community organizations are
members of the ECCL.
All ECCL delegates report back to
their respective community boards and residents directly and through their
community media systems ranging from email networks to newsletters to websites
or television channels. In addition all ECCL activities are widely
reported through the monthly Estero Development Report.
