Comments/Suggestions: Request implementation of all planned landscape Recommend taller palms (sabals 30’ CT) next to large building Recommend increased density of sabal palms on both side of building Developer agrees to littoral plantings along lakes in future phases Verify use of shady lady black olives (regular black olives listed on plan)
Bank of FloridaFee: PAID Presentation by: David M. Humphrey, Humphrey / Rosal Architects and Pat Trefz, Outside Productions Comments/Suggestions: Recommend spartina rather than sod in retention areas Questions regarding lightpoles in landscape islands and any conflicts Request pedestrian linkage at property line Fee: PAID Presentation by: Jay Matey, Avalon Engineering, Inc., and Mary Ellen Rand, Landscape Architect Comments/Suggestions: Recommend building similar to the Burger King at highland woods Pitched roof required Asked for upgraded tree sizes, plan had only code minimum sizes specified Color rendering presented was unrealistic (Al & Bill said it won’t look like rendered landscape for 15 years) Request taller shrubs (4’ OA at planting) along Corkscrew Road, so as to hide drive-thru line Parking-lot islands are much to narrow—do not meet code requirements Request “variance” from county re: number of parking spaces (plan shows minimum number, owner says that they don’t actually need that many spaces) to open up additional green space in parking lot Possibly eliminate 1 set of parking-lot islands Require architectural elements to break up straight roofline Will resubmit next month
