Juried Art Show Application
Arts in Estero 2007 will include a Juried Art Show. You are invited to submit
your work.
APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 1, 2007
YOU MUST INCLUDE:
- Signed and completed application
- Five photographs of your work
- Stamped, self addressed envelope
- Application fee ($50) and Jury fee ($20) payable to Greater Estero Cultural Arts Council, Inc.

Rules
The Greater Estero Cultural Arts Council, Inc. (Arts Estero), invites you to
submit your application to exhibit at the "Arts In Estero 2007" celebration on
Saturday, February 17, 2007.
- Only original work by fine craftsmen and artists will be accepted.
- No commercial dealers, agents or dealers, kits, castings from
commercial molds or mass-produced items. Fine art reproductions may be sold
only if signed and numbered. Mechanically reproduced work may be displayed
if clearly marked "Reproductions."
- The selection of artists for the show by the Selection Committee is
final.
- Each applicant must submit 5 photographs of their recent work. No
digital images. On back list artist name. Artists wishing their images
returned must include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
- Entrance fee of $50 with application, plus $20 jury fee for a
total of $70, check or money order must accompany each application. Artists
not accepted will receive a $50 refund. Checks will be deposited upon
receipt. Accepted artists fees will not be refunded if they are not able to
attend.
- Each exhibitor must comply with all pertinent State of Florida
sales tax regulations. Each artist is responsible for collecting and paying
to Florida Department of Revenue, Florida Sales Tax of 6%.
- Acceptance by the Selection Committee is the artist/craftsman
commitment to exhibit. No refunds will be made for cancellation by
exhibitor.
- No refunds shall be made for inclement weather or other acts of God,
local authority or weather related cancellations which the sponsor has no
control. Risk and/or loss from such an event shall be borne by the
exhibitor.
- No subletting or selling of space to anyone is permitted. Only the
type of arts/crafts selected for entry may be exhibited and sold.
- Each exhibitor must display a sign with his/her name, category of
art and home city of a minimum of 8 1/2" x 11".
- An official exhibitor I.D. badge will be issued and must be worn
at all times by the exhibitor.
- Check in time is between 6 am and 9 am Saturday, February 17,
2007. Exhibitors not there by 9 am, will forfeit their fee and their space
may be reassigned.
- Displays must be set up by 9:00 am. Saturday. You may not
dismantle your display before 4 pm of that day. Display must be manned at
all times by the exhibitor.
- Exhibitors must furnish their own displays. Displays must be
strong enough to withstand winds and crowds. Exhibitors are responsible for
damages caused by these displays.
- Exhibit space is approximately 10 x 10 ft.
- Artist is responsible for keeping his assigned area clean during
the show and area cleared after the show.
- Application deadline is January 1, 2007. Artists will be notified
by letter, mailed on or before January 18, 2007.
- The committee reserves the right to expel without refund any
exhibitor. The committee reserves the right to reject any work it considers
unsuitable. Exhibitors must follow suggestions made by the Greater Estero
Cultural Arts Council during the celebration day of February 17, 2007.
- Arts In Estero 2007 committee reserves the right to make final
interpretation of all rules.
