ARTS
ESTERO members who renew their membership before May 1, 2008 will have
their annual membership extended to July 1, 2009.
Never has the need been greater in SW Florida to nurture, showcase and
embrace the arts in our lives. Students as well as retirees need teachers,
ideas and opportunities to develop their talents. Artists need recognition and
peer groups to grow. All citizens need the quality-of-life only the arts can
provide.

Gurnow, Director, Estero High School Music Dept.
Board Member, ARTS ESTEROMr. Mark E Gurnow has been Director of Bands at
Estero High School since 2005. He has established a fine reputation as a
clinician and guest conductor throughout the United States. Under his leadership
the Estero Band has become one of the strongest AA bands in the State of
Florida. The Band Program includes 2 concert bands, marching band, jazz
ensemble (Jazzcats), and many small ensembles.
