Mission Statement

ARTS ESTERO, The Greater Estero Cultural Arts Council, Inc. promotes, raises awareness of and fosters interest in the arts by supporting the arts in education and by advocating the growth of our varied artistic community.

The Council strives to maintain and enhance the unique character of the Great Estero area and support all avenues of the cultural arts. Arts Estero is a non-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.

Arts Estero provides lifelong learning in music, visual and performing arts, photography, and literature by sponsoring and supporting the following:

• Concerts, exhibitions and festivals
• Arts in the schools
• Workshops and lectures
• Art exhibits
• Live Theater

Arts Estero supports the arts by engaging in the following activities:

• Maintaining joint mailing lists and a registry of artists, speakers, volunteers
• Calendar of cultural events
• Maintaining web pages for cultural links and activities in Greater Estero
• Coordinating the activities of existing art organizations
• Sponsoring concerts, exhibitions, workshops and art festivals
• Bringing workshops and performances to Estero
• Supporting the arts in our schools
• Providing volunteers to help at functions
