Watershed Meeting
Thursday, May 8, 9 a.m.
The first public meeting (The kick off meeting) on the South Lee Watershed
Study concerning flood prevention in our area and the need for culverts under
I-75 will be held at the Bonita Springs City Hall located on the South side of
Bonita Beach Road just East of U.S. 41 -next to the Post Office.
The safety from flooding for all communities bordering on the Estero River,
Halfway Creek or Spring Creek will be determined by this study. You all
need
to be represented at these meetings.
Everyone is invited to attend.
Please try to attend to show the South
Florida Water Management District and Lee County that we are interested in
this issue and want them to know that we want it done right and on time. Generous Donation
The Estero Community Improvement Foundation (ECIF) would like to thank the
Copperleaf Foundation for the generous $2,500 grant that it recently approved
for the ECIF and its Estero High School Landscaping project.
